Woolhope ARS Exclusive Offer!
Equipment is available for community groups, archaeology, local interest and history groups to borrow from the Archaeological Research Section of the Woolhope Naturalists Field Club.
The items available are: a Global Positioning System (GPS); a digital camera; one laptop, principally for presentation purposes. A trained member of the Woolhope ARS always accompanies users of the GPS, giving guidance and instruction.
A leaflet has been produced that provides more detail on this LEADER+ project and its equipment. Look out for these leaflets in your local library, and other special interest/public meeting places. Alternatively, please click on the link to download the leaflet: Woolhope ARS Leaflet.
Please note there is one amendment to the leaflet. When the leaflet was originally produced, it was intended that the laptop would have its home in the Sites and Monuments Record office from September 2005; unfortunately this is not yet the case. The laptop is currently at the home of the project lead Roz Lowe, but it is hoped that it will be placed at the SMR in April 2006. Despite this, the laptop is still available for use by other groups.
If you are not sure whether your group would qualify to borrow this equipment, then follow this link to the Woolhope ARS project page, to see if your group has similar interests and aims.
For more information, or to book an item of this equipment, please contact Roz Lowe on (01600) 890457 or at woolhopears@goodrich7.freeserve.co.uk.
